TWIN CITY KIDS
We understand being new can be hard. Below you can watch this video to get an idea of who we are as a church, and what to expect on a Sunday. This will include what you can expect for kids as you check them in and they go to explore and learn of the love God has for them.
Whether your children will be in Twin City Babies (0-18 months), Twin City Toddlers (18-36 months), Twin City Pre-School (3-5 years) or Twin City Kids
(K-5), we have plenty of room for them and are excited about helping them grow in their faith. We are looking forward to meeting you and your kids every Sunday morning as we strive to ensure that your kids leave having learned about God while being pumped up about coming back! If you are new, simply fill out the form below and we will have your children pre-registered before you arrive. Please submit this form at least 24 hours before arriving on a Sunday morning. Thank you!
Babies and Toddlers
A loving and nurturing ministry is provided during the Sunday morning services. Your child is special to us and we want his/her first impressions of church to be a positive one as they begin to learn about the love of Jesus.
Young hearts and minds begin to lay their spiritual foundation of Biblical truths through Bible lessons, music, crafts and free play under the guidance of our dedicated teaching team. Our mission is to partner with parents to lead a child to a personal and maturing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where children experience the love of Jesus. Our vision is to transform a new generation of children through Jesus Christ. We are committed to having a child-targeted ministry that uses songs and Bible lessons taught in ways that will best reach and teach children. We use a curriculum called First Look.
The three principles we teach at this stage are:
• God Made Me
• God Loves Me
• Jesus wants to be my friend forever
Our elementary strategy is to creatively focus each month around a concept or virtue that relates to our relationship with God and others (Luke 2:52). Those virtues are then illustrated through key Bible stories or passages. We believe every virtue we choose is a reflection of God’s image, the same image that He wants to demonstrate through us, to the world around us. It is very important to understand a critical distinction: our goal is not to simply raise kids who have character, but to encourage kids to have the kind of relationship with God that results in showing His character to the world.
Everything we teach comes back to these three core principles:
• I should treat others the way I want to be treated
• I can trust God no matter what
• I need to make the wise choice
